New commissions for Spring 2017

Thursday 30 March, 5pm – 8pm

On Thursday 30 March, As You Change, So Do I will show their new commissions in the Storefront and at The Hat Factory Arts Centre

Artists Yuri Pattison, Mark Titchner and Polly Apfelbaum will present their new works alongside the Storefront’s current exhibition, The 1970s Were Here.

The 1970s Were Here, curated by J. Hackson from CLOD MAGAZINE, will lead an evening of music and memories. From 5pm, the Storefront will serve as an informal forum for recalling memories of Luton in the 1970s. Invitees are encouraged to share their stories and these spoken reminiscences will be interspersed with music from the era.

At 6.30pm, the interspersed speech and song will give way to celebration of 70s music. J. Hackson and As You Change, So Do I curator Matthew Shaul will become the Storefront’s residents DJs and play a mix of soul, funk, punk, pop, and disco for everyone to enjoy.

We invite everyone to celebrate the new artworks and join us for the evening.
